Thursday, December 22, 2022, 10:30AM: Groomed trails include Half Moon Tie-In, Kelly Park, Kelly Tie-In, Lower and Upper Surveyors, Moose Ridge, Tree Loop, Heart Attack, Flatline, Old Road Trail, and Pine Martin. Thermometer on the groomer read -45F (minus 45F) in Surveyor Park this morning. -10F now at the Nordic Equipment Building. Warming up, gorgeous morning, blue sky as far as I can see, slight breeze. Road and parking are plowed. Got maybe 6-8 inches of new snow up by White Pine, the wind blew it around a lot. Still plenty of wildlife around, give them their space. Deer and elk will usually jump off the trail if snow not too deep on the sides. Moose may not want to move off the trail. Best to turn around and go a different direction.
