Free Avalanche Awareness Clinic

From about 9AM to 1PMish on Saturday. The clinic will be held at the Horse Creek Parking lot, 17 miles west of Daniel Junction on Hwy 354/23-112. All ages welcome! Kids 16 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Come dressed and prepared for practice in the field near the parking lot. Bring your personal safety equipment (They will also have plenty to share and use). NO snow machines needed. There will be demonstrations of Self-rescue and Buddy-rescue techniques, hands-on training with beacons, tips for better shoveling, and proper probing. Join Tip Top Search & Rescue members as they provide safety tips and hands-on training with avalanche safety equipment.
