Tony Vitolo sent in this photo of a Northern Hawk Owl seen recently in Sublette County. Reports indicate that this owl is rarely seen in Wyoming. The permanent range for these birds is the northern parts of Canada, but documentation reports sightings of them every month of the year in Montana and mostly rare winter sightings in Wyoming.
