2025 Big Fish Derby

The Pinedale Lions Club will host their annual Big Fish Winter Derby on Fremont Lake Saturday & Sunday, March 1 & 2. Basecamp for the ice fishing derby is Lakeside Lodge. Fremont Lake is located about four miles from Pinedale. The Pinedale Lions Club reports ranging from 6 to 18 inches of ice on the lake. They suggest bringing snowmobiles or pull sleds, and are not recommending 4-wheelers. Entry fee is $40, youth division free. All Wyoming fishing regulations and creel limits apply-must show fishing license at registration. Grand prize $1000. Other prizes.
