Darrel Michael "Mike" Lahoe passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Mike was deeply devoted to Pinedale and cherished by his friends, family, and all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and immense heart will forever be remembered. He touched so many lives, and his absence will be profoundly felt. We invite you to join us in celebrating Mike’s life and sharing your memories. Please gather with us at the Boulder Community Center on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 1:00PM to honor him and the lasting impact he made on all of us.
Obituary – Mike Lahoe November 6, 1955 - February 13, 2025 Darrel Michael Lahoe "Mike" passed away on February 13, 2025 at his home in Pinedale, WY.
Mike was born in Ogden, UT to Elsie Murphy and Joseph Lahoe on November 6, 1955. He spent many years of his life traveling from place to place. However, Wyoming is where his heart was and where he finally decided to plant some roots and call it home.
Mike spent the last 14 years of his life working at the Wapika Ranch, the job that he loved. Mike loved his kids and grandkids above all else. He couldn’t have been more proud of them. Mike was very proud of their accomplishments, even if it was the grandkids just trying their best at sports. He loved to be on the back of a horse in God’s country, hunting, fishing, and truly anything outdoors.
Mike was loved by friends and family from all around. His memory continues to live on through his family including his seven children, Mike & Kristi Lahoe of Delta, CO; Mindi Lahoe of Bartow, FL; Joseph Wilson, Cole Lahoe, KC & Aly Lahoe of Thermopolis, WY; Trapper & Kacii Lahoe of Cheyenne, WY; and Feather & Stockton Coble of Thermopolis, WY; his sister Gayle Ann Lahoe Ostrom, and a loving group of grandchildren.
Mike was met with open arms by his heavenly family, including his mother Elsie, his father Joseph, three of his siblings, Bob Lahoe, Jody Parker, Shirley Eckman, as well as two of his grandchildren, Cole Lahoe and Christopher Thomas.A Celebration of Life will be held in Boulder, Wyoming at the Boulder Community Center on March 9, 2025 at 1pm. The family would like to invite and welcome anyone that would like to attend, please come if you can make it. This will be an open event.
