SAFV seeks volunteers

The Sublette County Sexual Assault & Family Violence Task Force (SAFV) is looking for compassionate individuals who would like to volunteer their time and join our team here at SAFV.
As a volunteer, first and foremost, you would have days that you were on-call and therefore answer any calls that may come in from the crisis line. The volunteer program requires you to pass a background check, participate in a 40-hour advocacy training and sign a confidentiality form. There would also be opportunities to help out at our annual golf fundraiser in September, along with help at booths in the summer and hang ribbons for Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault months.
If you find yourself being a caring, compassionate and understanding individual, then you might make an amazing volunteer! This can be a great way to help people who are victims of domestic violence acts.
