        Fire Information:Over the past 24 hours, the Cow Camp fire increased in size to approximately 
        324 acres. Firefighters were able to hold the fire on its southern border 
        Monday night, with only minor growth to the fire's eastern flank. Ninety 
        people are presently working this fire, including four 20-person crews 
        and their associated support personnel. An additional 20-person crew arrived 
        today from Richfield, Utah, Fish Lake National Forest. Suppression efforts 
        are focusing on the southern and eastern flanks to keep the fire north 
        of Jim Creek as firefighters prepare for another day of Red Flag weather 
        conditions including hot, dry weather, low relative humidity and high 
        winds.
 The nearby cow camp was evacuated on Saturday, June 
        29th, and firefighters are working to protect the outfitter's cabin northwest 
        of the fire area. The public is being asked to refrain from using this 
        area for safety purposes. Crews are still creating handline construction, 
        gridding spot fires, and preparing areas for mop up. The fire is in heavy 
        timber with many spot fires.
 The initial attack helicopeter was called away from 
        the Cow Camp fire for a short time to assist with a search and rescue 
        mission in Grand Teton National Park, but returned later in the day. It 
        is helping with shuttling crews and supplies and performing some water 
        drops.
 At present, the fire is approximately 20% contained. 
        No roads or trails are closed, and no closures are in effect due to this 
        fire.
 The Bureau of Land Management issued a press release 
        that fire restrictions would go into effect on BLM lands as of July 4th. 
        Restrictions prohibit any fires except within agency provided grates at 
        developed recreation sites. Fully enclosed stoves or grills or stoves 
        using pressurized liquid or gas are allowed. Smoking is prohibited except 
        within a closed vehicle or building or a developed recreation site, or 
        while stopped in an area at least 3 feet in diameter that is barren or 
        cleared of all flammable material. Other restrictions regarding chain 
        saws, welders and torches are in effect. Off-road vehicles are prohibited 
        unless equipped with a properly installed spark arrester. Contact the 
        local BLM office for more details on the exact restrictions.
 Fireworks are also prohibited on BLM and National Forest 
        lands and within all of Sublette County.

              National Forest:NO fire restrictions on Bridger-Teton National Forest administered 
              lands at this time. Back country users are reminded that campfires 
              are not allowed above timberline in the wilderness at any time. 
              Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
 Sublette 
              CountyLighting fireworks is prohibited within Sublette County.
 BLM:Fire 
              restrictions will begin July 4th. No open fires except within developed 
              recreation sites. Regulations regarding smoking, operating a chain 
              saw, and welder are in effect. No fireworks.
 State: 
              Restrictions went into effect on State lands on June 11th. No 
              open fires, barbecue grills or fireworks on any lands or facilities 
              administered by the Game and Fish Department.
 |    | Fires 
        at a GlanceOne fire, 
        the Cow Camp Fire, is currently burning in the Wind River Range of the 
        Pinedale Ranger District in the Bridger-Teton National Forest near the 
        wilderness. The fire is approximately 1.5 miles south of Wolf Lake just 
        outside the Bridger Wilderness boundary. This is a lightning caused fire 
        which began Saturday, June 29th.
      Another 
        fire is burning near Flaming Gorge in the Utah portion which has closed 
        Hwy 191 and threatens structures at Flaming Gorge Dam. The Mustang fire 
        was reported to have 200 foot flames and required evacuations of recreation 
        areas.
      The South 
        Fork II fire is burning on the east side of the Continental Divide on 
        the Wind River Reservation and is now 4,500 acres and 0% contained. Smoke 
        from this fire can be seen from our side of the Winds and has been confusing 
        to some recreationists who have reported it as a possible new fire.   National
