June 21, 2005
The fishing hatch report is courtesy of professional fishing guide, John Ross, of Two Rivers Emporium Orvis Fly Shop in Pinedale.
Green River The Green is big and going to get bigger with these warm days of summer upon us. Hopefully it will start fishing by the 4th of July.
New Fork River The New Fork River is fishing great. We are starting to see some hatches on the river and fish feeding on the surface. It should stay clear above Pole Creek and fish great during this runoff. We should start seeing some stone flies, gray drakes and caddis on the surface in the next week or two. It seems like our water temperatures need to reach 55 degrees or so before hatches really start and fish start looking up.
Area Lakes All the lakes in the area are fishing well. Meadow Lake for grayling, Dollar Lake for rainbows, and Boulder Lake for rainbows as well.
Get out and fish!! John Ross
