Green River Lakes Campground finally opened on Thursday, June 29, and is now fully open for the season, just in time for the big 4th of July and Rendezvous weekends! The campground had been closed since last year for logging operations to remove hazardous trees killed due to a serious pine beetle infestation. Workers have been cleaning up the last of the logging debris and removing the log decks so that the campground could be declared safe and reopened. Campers will find a more open look with some spots now having views of Green River Lakes.

Campsite units are on a first-come, first-served basis. Only the three group areas can be reserved in advance through www.ReserveUSA.com or by calling the toll-free reservation number 1-877-444-6777. All facilities are open including the campground, trailhead, trailhead parking area and boat launch area. A campground host is in the campground to answer questions.
