The public has until Wednesday, August 30th, to submit their input into the proposed Stewart Point drilling projects.

The projects are associated with the Pinedale Anticline drilling along the Mesa Breaks near Stewart Point, just south of Pinedale on Bureau of Land Management land.

Questar Exploration and Production has proposed up to 30 wells from 5 drill pads, three and a half miles southwest of Pinedale.

The Pinedale BLM Office will accept comments in person, by mail, or through the Pinedale BLM’s Public Mailbox on the internet. The office will accept comments until 4:30 pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2006.

The Pinedale BLM is located at 432 East Mill Street, Pinedale, Box 768, Pinedale, Wyoming, 82941. To provide comments via e-mail, use the following BLM address: pinedale_wymail@blm.gov. Please include in the subject line: QEP Stewart Point.
