Welcome Dr. David Kappenman!
Joins staff at the Pinedale Medical Clinic

Dr. David Kappenman joined the Pinedale Medical Clinic medical staff in January, 2007.
He is a Board certified Family Practice physician who has significant emergency room experience. He did his medical training at the University of South Dakota, and he completed his residency at Rapid City Regional Hospital's Family Practice residency program. He has served as an EMT and volunteered as a triage medic before going to medical school. Dr. Kappenman also has a background in chemistry and has published articles on how stress affects brain chemistry.
Dr. Kappenman's wife, Julie, has worked in the Credit Union industry, and spent several years working for the NCUA (National Credit Union Association) as an Economic Development Specialist.
Dr. Kappenman is an avid fly fisherman. They enjoy camping, hiking, waterskiing and spending time with their dog Marley.
