Last May, a group of Sublette County residents mailed in a petition to the Region 8 office of the Environmental Protection Agency expressing their concerns about the effects of gas field development in the Jonah and Pinedale Anticline on air quality in Sublette County. The effort was spearheaded by Perry Walker of Daniel.

Walker received a reply back from the EPA and he asked us to post it to let the signers know what the response was. The EPA shared some of the concerns expressed in the petition and disagreed with some of the specific issues raised.
