The Upper Green River Valley has been impacted greatly by the Mountain Pine Beetle infestation which has killed many pine trees throughout the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

There will be a special presentation about Pine Bark Beetles on Thursday, August 27th by Liz Davy, Bridger-Teton National Forest Timber & Silviculture Program Manager. Her talk will be from 6:30—7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Sublette County Library, 155 South Tyler Ave, in Pinedale. Davy will give a presentation on the current condition and the future of bark pine beetles. Property owners are encouraged to come and learn how to prevent or slow down the infestations.
