The Sublette Chamber of Commerce will host a Community Conversation Luncheon on Thursday, February 2nd. Special guest speaker will be Sublette County School District #1 (SCSD#1) Superintendent, Jay Harnack. The topic is the Regional Cost Adjustment Bill and the impacts it will have on Sublette County Schools. It will reduce funding to Sublette County Schools (SCSD#1 and #9 combined) by over $1.1 million. This change which will result in a reduction of over $650,000 for Pinedale and Bondurant schools. SCSD #1 is beginning a broad based lobbying campaign to let Sublette County constituents know what this means for our school districts in the way of loss of jobs and programs. The luncheon will take place at the Sublette County Library - Lovatt Room at noon. Lunch is FREE! Please RSVP to the Chamber at 307-367-2242 by Wednesday, February 1st by 5:00pm.
