Laura Noble was chosen by the Green River Valley Cattlewomen to attend the Wyoming Beef Ambassador contest in Casper, Wyoming on April 11, 2015. Laura Noble was then appointed the 2015 Wyoming Beef Ambassador at the State Cattlewomen’s Meeting. She will be attending the 2016 National Beef Ambassador contest which will be held September 25-26, 2015 in Denver, Colorado.

Laura Noble is a junior at Pinedale High School. She is the daughter of Dave and Ann Noble. She is a fifth generation rancher living on the Cora Valley Angus Ranch north of Cora, Wyoming.

The Wyoming Beef Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for youth to become spokespersons and future leaders for the beef industry. The Wyoming Beef Ambassador to provides information about beef’s nutrition, safety and convenience to consumers along with providing producers with industry information, including facts about the Beef Checkoff Program. Program sponsors are the Wyoming Beef Council and the Wyoming CattleWomen, Inc.

Laura will be attending the Wyoming Stock Growers/Wyoming Cattlewomen’s summer or winter conference, assisting with the booth at State Fair, taking the Masters of Beef Advocacy (MBA) program through the National Cattleman’s Beef Association (NCBA), doing two educational events and participating in two media events which can include a media interview, letter to the editor or post on blogs.

The National Beef Ambassador Program works with youth in states across the country. These Beef Ambassadors educate consumers in their respective areas about beef and beef production. Additionally, five of these young adults are chosen to represent the National Beef Ambassador Team and educate consumers on a national level through a competition.

This program is essential because today's youth are bombarded with anti-beef messages that often find their way into schools. Beef Ambassadors located across the nation go into classrooms, daycares, after school programs and attend youth organization activities where they make presentations about their personal experiences with beef and the beef industry, including industry messages on nutrition, animal welfare, environment and other key topics.

National Beef Ambassadors increase consumer reach through their attendance at promotional events during consumer expos, health fairs and in-store demonstrations. Across our nation Beef Ambassadors share personal experiences, product samples and key beef messaging on nutrition, recipes, preparation, animal welfare, environment and other key issues.
