BLM to winterize campgrounds in Lincoln and Sublette counties

Water to be turned off at Fontenelle, Scab Creek, and Warren Bridge campgrounds for winter
The Bureau of Land Management’s Kemmerer and Pinedale field offices will begin winterizing water systems at several campgrounds between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3, 2025. The affected campgrounds include Fontenelle Creek Campground in Lincoln County and Scab Creek and Warren Bridge campgrounds in Sublette County.
The winterization process may occur earlier if temperatures approach freezing before the listed dates. Once winterization is complete, water will not be available for the remainder of the season, and campers should plan accordingly. After the water is turned off, no fees will be charged at these campgrounds.
